2023 was a historic year for Pfizer’s vaccines team, led by accomplished women scientists who played a pivotal role in a major scientific breakthrough in RSV vaccine development after decades of research in the space. ABRYSVO, Pfizer’s RSV vaccine, was approved by the FDA this year for individuals 60 years of age or older as well as for pregnant people at 32 through 36 weeks. This major accomplishment marks a significant milestone for the scientific community and public health.
